ThaiFex, Bangkok, Thailand

Bangkok was the meeting point in Southeast Asia for food & beverage buyers and traders at the ThaiFex - World of Food Asia expo held from 13 to 17 May 2009; and WORLDFOODS was proud to be part of it. It was WORLDFOODS 6th year participating at the expo and like every year, it was our objective to catch up with our partners and promote WORLDFOODS products in the Thailand domestic market. This year, we presented the crowds, that totalled up to 21,101 visitors, with some Thai, Malaysian and Indian dishes plus our newest fruit dessert range, Toppings .

WORLDFOODS also hosted a party for all our partners as a way to show our gratitude to them and also to showcase the recipes of Chef Phol of Spring Dining Room using WORLDFOODS products. Overall, the exhibition and dinner was enjoyed by many and an ultimate success all round.





Recipe Idea
 
 
CAMBODIAN PINEAPPLE LEMONGRASS CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS:
  (340g) WORLDFOODS Cambodian Pineapple Lemongrass Stir-Fry Sauce; 350g chicken, sliced; 1 tablespoon cooking oil; 2 tablespoon deep-fried shallots, finely chopped.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Heat oil in a pan and stir-fry chicken for 3 minutes.
2. Pour in the stir-fry sauce and cook for 5 - 7 minutes or until chicken is cooked, stirring occasionally.
3. Garnish with deep-fried shallots and serve.
