WorldFoods is proud to present the 3rd Annual Taste of Southeast Asia.

It was with great honor that we were given the opportunity to sponsor this amazing event and it was indeed a shame if you missed it. The Taste of Southeast Asia is a landmark event that includes a variety of Chefs who offer samples of many Asian delicacies, as well as beer, wine and cocktails ranging from Southeast Asia. Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore are a few of the nations that contributed their own special flavour to the show.



On top of that Jay Weinstein, reknowned Chef/ Food Journalist and Instructor demonstrated a few traditional Southeast Asian Dishes as part of a private cooking lesson. Overall this event proved to be an evening of excellent culinary delight and we couldn’t be any happier with the outcome to this fantastic celebration.


Recipe Idea
 
 
CAMBODIAN PINEAPPLE LEMONGRASS CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS:
  (340g) WORLDFOODS Cambodian Pineapple Lemongrass Stir-Fry Sauce; 350g chicken, sliced; 1 tablespoon cooking oil; 2 tablespoon deep-fried shallots, finely chopped.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Heat oil in a pan and stir-fry chicken for 3 minutes.
2. Pour in the stir-fry sauce and cook for 5 - 7 minutes or until chicken is cooked, stirring occasionally.
3. Garnish with deep-fried shallots and serve.
